- After securing multiple partnerships in the region, including with Emirates NBD/Liv Bank, Ctrl Alt has officially launched in the UAE, with more partnerships to be announced in the coming weeks.
- This expansion is fuelled by exceptional demand in the region from both financial institutions and government agencies seeking to accelerate the integration of tokenization.
- Ctrl Alt chose the DMCC’s newly opened Uptown Tower as the location for their office in Dubai. The region will be led by Robert Farquhar (previously Prypco), who joins as Head of MENA.
Ctrl Alt, a leading financial engineering and tokenization platform with offices in the UK and Ireland, has officially launched in the UAE with an initial focus on the Emirate of Dubai. The company has already secured multiple partnerships, including with Emirates NBD, with more public announcements to follow.
This expansion is driven by Dubai’s momentum and focus on accelerating the integration of tokenized assets across a variety of use cases and clients. Having already achieved significant success in the UK and Europe with $150m of assets under management, Ctrl Alt aims to replicate and expand upon this in the UAE.
The region will be led by Robert Farquhar, previously Senior Executive Officer at Prypco, a leading real estate and fractional real estate provider. Ctrl Alt made history in the real estate sector themselves having been the first to tokenize a residential house in the UK and will look to further innovation of the real estate industry and other asset classes in Dubai and beyond with Farquhar’s expertise.
Founder and CEO Matt Ong comments further about the expansion:Â
“The momentum in Dubai has been remarkable, making it a natural choice for our third office. Dubai is going to be at the forefront of tokenization and I’m thrilled for Ctrl Alt to be part of that journey. With Robert’s experience and his proven track record in the region, we look forward to deepening our presence and working more closely with our clients here.”
‍Robert Farquhar also shared his enthusiasm:‍
“Joining and launching Ctrl Alt in Dubai is an incredible opportunity. Ctrl Alt has already paved the way for tokenizing real-world assets in the UK and Europe. Their expertise in financial engineering, combined with cutting-edge technology, is exactly what Dubai needs to further its ambitions as a leader in this space.”
‍Ctrl Alt will be based out of DMCC Crypto & Blockchain Ecosystem a leading hub for crypto businesses – fostering growth, collaboration, and integrity across the industry.
